7 THINGS THAT ARE HURTING YOUR DIGESTION

Are you experiencing gut issues?

I often see the below messing with digestion and causing gut issues.

Seed oils

Seeds oils such as canola and sunflower oil have harmful effects and are inflammatory to the gut. I have done previous posts on my Instagram page on which oils I recommend instead.

Chronic stress

Chronic stress - alters the gut microbiome.

Glyphosate

Glyphosate can alter and cause an imbalance the of gut microbiome and kill good bacteria.

Fake meat, fake dairy, fake eggs

Fake meat, fake eggs, fake cheese and fake dairy often contain seed oils, gums, preservatives, additives etc. For some individuals, an inordinate amount of nuts can be triggering to the gut and some individuals have difficulty with oats.

Lack of sleep

Lack of sleep can increase stress, which affects the gut and decreases good bacteria and can suppress the immune system.

Highly inflammatory processed foods

Highly inflammatory processed foods - causes excessive inflammation and causes leaky gut.

Medications

Certain medications such as antibiotics, NSAIDs, birth control etc can impact the gut and gut issues.
